Have you ever heard of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People? To be frank, I didn’t know anything about it before the assembly. Nonetheless, after learning about the seven habits in the assembly, my entire mindset on life management changed. The meaningful talk definitely provided me with comprehensive and constructive guidelines on how to improve my efficiency. What I found most useful were the first three habits mentioned by the speaker: be proactive, begin with the end in mind and put first things first.

After the assembly, I understood that it is paramount for me to find my own purpose, values and priorities in life and focus on reaching my goals. It is only by identifying our life positions that we can boost our personal efficiencies and ultimately achieve success. Apart from all the concepts I had grasped, what I also loved was the interactive part where the speaker asked us to answer some questions. For instance, she asked us to act out our reactions while facing certain situations in life, and our students eagerly jumped at the chance to express themselves. It was really fun to watch everyone’s reaction! The assembly was truly inspirational, and I was incredibly grateful for the golden opportunity to attend this talk.

During the last assembly, the guest shared with us The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, a renowned book for self-improvement. One of the most vital habits the book teaches us is to be proactive. There is a difference between proactive people and reactive people, which is something I’ve never thought about deeply before. To put it bluntly, the former don't blame circumstances for their behavior and tend to focus on what they can control at the present while the latter do the opposite.

Recently, I’ve been trying to be more proactive in order to strive for my dreams and future success. It is always crucial to remind ourselves what we can do with our limited ability, trying our utmost. Never underestimate our own potential!

To conclude, the talk was truly inspiring and helpful, especially for students who were going through their lost teenage years. It was frankly a wonderful experience.
