S1 & S2 English Story-telling Competitions 2024-2025

The English story-telling competition, organised for F.1 and F.2 students on 13th and 14th March 2025 respectively, aimed at cultivating students’ passion for reading, boosting their confidence in public speaking as well as developing their appreciation for Chinese folklores. With the support of our teachers and students, the events concluded with success and the storytellers narrated their chosen stories with nice voice modulation, pauses, and impressive facial expressions. The judging panel applauded their effort and congratulated all winning storytellers.

Form 1

Champion: 1B Kong Choi Lam, Mark (‘Guardian Lions’)

1st runner-up: 1B Ng Yan Kiu, Ashley (‘How did the Chinese zodiac start?’)

2nd runner-up: 1D Zhu Wang Chun, Brady (‘The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl’)

 

Form 2

Champion: 2C Cheung Cheuk Yin, Christopher (‘The Crow and the Pitcher’)

1st runner-up: 2B Wong Yui Chit, Jasper (‘The Foolish Man Who Moves the Mountain’)

2nd runner-up: 2B Kong Jasmine Tsz-Ching (‘The Ant and the Grasshopper’)
